Giancarlo Stanton had an eventful day.

He hit this home run, the tenth longest thus far in the season.

Made this catch

and made this throw.

The Indians Justin Masterson outpitches the Tigers Justin Verlander in a critical early season matchup.

Keeping with this year's Cleveland pitching theme, Masterson issued 5 walks while striking out 4 batters.

do you still think the Dodgers will do good to play 500 this season?

thanks Mike, I love it when posters remind us of things in the past that are wonderful to remember.

Tim Lincecum now has made 10 starts this season, and has had only 1 Quality Start outing.

I'm headed back to Safeco Field for the finale of the Angels/Mariners series.

My advice to the Mariners... don't pitch to Pujols.

This should suffice to jinx them, but the Whitesox are really hot right now. Yesterdays game was great - Sale had 15Ks and Dunn hit a BOMB which was all the offense they had or needed.

With the Marlins win over the Nationals yesterday that makes them 20-8 in the month of May going into the final 2 days of the month

The 20 wins are the most in franchise history - eclipsing the 19 wins they had in august of 97

This has been driven by pretty good pitching and the machine that is Giancarlo Stanton

For the month of May he has an OPS of 1.164 with 11 HRs - the guy is blazing right now
