It's a bit humbling to think that a major league knuckleball is faster than my fastball when I throw it at the state fair and such

This is why high school was my highest level of baseball playing

Well, my hat is off to Matt Cain. His was an exceptional performance against my Astros, so you have to give him and his defense a lot of credit. Now, Houston must regroup and stop this losing streak and get into a mindset of resilience once again so they can get a winning streak going. They almost got to .500 a couple of weeks ago, and while they have a ways to go to get back there, these guys have shown it can be done. Now, they just need to do it.

Going by Game Scores, Cain's performance last night was the best pitched game since 1998. That year Kerry Wood had his one hit, no walk, 20 strikeout masterpiece which scored a 105, the highest ever for a nine inning game.

Since then the top score posted each year....

'99 Pedro Martinez Red Sox/Eric Milton Twins ..98
'00 Mike Mussina..98
'01 Hideo Nomo Red Sox..99
'02 Curt Schilling D-Backs..100 (1 hit, 2 walks, 17 K)
'03 Curt Schilling D-Backs..96
'04 Randy Johnson D-Backs 100 (Perfect game, 13 K)
'05 Chris Carpenter Cards..96
'06 John Lackey Angels..95
'07 Erik Bedard Orioles..98
'08 Carlos Zambrano Cubs..96
'09 Jonathan Sanchez Giants 98
'10 Brandon Morrow B Jays..100 (1 hit, 2 walks, 17 K)
'11 Chris Capauno Mets 96
'12 Matt Cain Giants 101 (Perfect game, 14 K)

The top three games of '12 have been:
Cain 101
Cain 98
Humber 98

Today in baseball, a radio host in Milwaukee loses it on the brewers listen and enjoy it's great stuff!

Imagine that, a radio sports show host appealing to his lowest IQ listeners.

And the Astros recovered from Matt Cain's perfecto in a grand way. A grand slam by J.D. Martinez in the third inning helped seal that 6-3 deal over the Giants. Now, they're off to Arlington to play the Rangers. I've heard that Saturday's contest is already sold out.

This guy must be a Howard Stern wannabe. Or maybe he wants to get on the Jerry Springer Show.

Well I guess some background is needed, he is a very calm quiet guy who is over optimistic on the brewers and never does this kind of thing so it's so weird and odd to hear him go off like this. even though he is blind he does a great job on the radio.
