Yeah, Uribe had a rare good game for us.

Texas' Michael Young currently has 2000 runs scored and 2000 RBI.

Is that in your Strat-o-Matic League?

Baseball reference has Young at 1046 runs scored and 953 batted in.

Oops

Got my real life and video game spread sheets mixed up.

1046+
953=1999 plus 1 equals 2000 combined runs and RBI. Which is....not at all what I posted

Did you know...

brothers Jerry and Scott Hairston play for the Dodgers and Mets. In each game the Dodgers and Mets have played this season exactly 1 Hairston has started. Jerry starts for LA today while Scott sits for the Mets.

Dodgers win 8-3 in 12 innings.

Josh Wall picks up his first major league win in his first major league game. He'll get the chance to brag about it to his AAA buddies when he gets sent down to Albuquerque tomorrow.

The game was carried on TBS. I was flipping back and forth between it and the Giants-Phillies. Both of the games went 12 innings and spilled over into the start of the Yankees-A's, so now I was having to flip among three games.

And the A's came back from being down 4-0 to tie it with a run in the ninth, so that game has gone into extra innings as well.

MLB must be having a sale today, four games worth of innings for the price of three.
