A's are just blistering hot at the moment. 14-2 in July.

This was their 11th walk off win of the season, best in the majors.

This was their sixth walk off win in their last eleven games.

Everything is going the A's way in July.

Josh Wall picks up his first major league win in his first major league game. He'll get the chance to brag about it to his AAA buddies when he gets sent down to Albuquerque tomorrow.
According to Brooksbaseball, Wall threw:
6 4-seam fastballs at 94 MPH, with 9 inches of horizontal break and 5 inches of vertical break.
5 sliders at 84 MPH with about an inch of horizonatal and vertical break.

7 of the 11 pitches were for strikes and 1 batter, David Wright, swung and missed.

ETA:
Compare those numbers to those of another Dodger reliever, Shawn Tolleson who threw,
14 4-seam fastballs at 92 MPH with 4 inches of horizontal and 6 inches of vertical break.
6 85 MPH sliders with 5 inches of horizontal and 3 inches of vertical break.
3 84 MPH curve balls with 5 inches of horizontal and 7 inches of vertical break.

Yeah it's tough to get swept in a 4 game series and lose every single game by 1 run (2 being walk off wins)

Back to back ass-kickings in extra innings for the Mets.

8 - 3 to the Dodgers yesterday in 12 innings.

8 - 2 to the Nationals today in 10.
