On back to back nights, the Astros, 100+ games into the season, win their first game in their final at bat, and then score their first run in extra innings for their second walk off win. The Astros had been outscored 13-0 in the previous 19 extra innings.

Tonight's big Astros win made possible by the addition of MVP candidate Tyler Greene, with a 2B and HR. Why the Cards let him go puzzles me.

Oh, well, so much for starting a new winning streak. The Astros lost today, 5-3, despite putting up a rally in the bottom of the ninth. Their win streak ends at two games.

That was an inside joke. If you'd been following the Cardinals subforum, you'd have known that the day before, I had demanded that the Cards get rid of Greene. Retroactively by a couple of years, if possible.
