Harper looked good today. There was no indication that last night's miserable game was still on his mind.

You learn that in the minors.

Harper is still just a dumb punk kid who doesn't know his place. If he was more mature he'd know he was overmatched in the majors.

I just looked at Harper's offensive line. Some "overmatch."

Yeah. I'm aware.

I like everything about Harper----love his swing, love his glove, like his speed, and just love his overall baseball IQ.

I also like the way he carries himself off the field.

Yes indeed-----this guy is the real thing----unless injury or something else sidetracks him, Harper looks to have a great career ahead of him.

Harper's cockiness reminds me of a story I read about Ted Williams. In the spring of 1939 he was chatting with reporters aboard a train on his way to join the Red Sox, whose potent offense had led the league in hitting the previous year. A reporter told Williams, "Wait until you see those guys hit." Williams reportedly replied, "Wait until they see me hit."

What a punk-ass cocky bastard

Harper, 19, did not hesitate in standing down to the future Hall of Famer who happens to be more than twice his age:

"I'd vote for Chipper."

Punk-ass Bryce Harper wants to spend time with his parents this All-Star break and wants to get his EMT license and be a volunteer firefighter during the off-season.

What a jackass!
