Yes, but on the way back they must first stop and spend 13 years in Kansas City.

Yes. You could have a cross-town rivalry. North Philly vs. South Philly. I like it.

I doubt the A's would return to Philly. They've been gone too long and I'd imagine it would be hard building a new fanbase. But it would be neat for the spirit of Connie Mack to return.

If the A's come back to Philadelphia, their manager should have to wear a suit instead of a baseball uniform.

If the A's are having that hard a time in Oakland, and they have to move, then I think a return to their roots would be nothing short of inspired. (I'd love to think the Dodgers would take a hint...but for the moment I suspect I have to restrain my enthusiasm).

The A's should get out of California, that's for sure. I think North Carolina would be a good destination, Charlotte perhaps.

Default Charlotte???

That is in the south, right. Let's see what other teams are in the south: Atlanta, Miami and Tampa Bay. All teams are doing well in the standings right now. Not one of them is really doing very well in the stands. Seems to me the South does not really support baseball.
I say back to Philadelphia where I can remember listening to their last games on the radio with By Saam as an 8 year old.. Bobby Shantz and his brother Wilbur. Pete Suder, Ferris Fain, Joe Astroth and of course Vic Power and Gus Zernial.

I seriously don't think Philadelphia can support two baseball teams like before. It won't be the same today. San Jose would be a better choice.
