But, how can you be confident when you're even wrong about what you're confident about?

The Phillies staff is league average in...pitching (ERA-)
They are 7% below average in...hitting (wRC+)
They are league average in...defense (UZR/150)
Their hitting is their big deficiency.

I'm confident that the All-Star break is in July. So you weren't confident that the Nationals would win the NL East in June.

Whatever, they been losing because they give up RUNS!!!!!!!!!. Did you see the collapse on Sunday? The Phillies led the Braves 7-1 and ended up losing 8-7. Since Howard and Utley returned they have been better offiensively but the pitching is what killed them.
