Of course it is part of the game.
Obviously they are in last place.

Obviously, having Halladay underperform and not having Utley and Howard at all effects the Phillies' overall talent.

Yes. Lee is a bad pitcher because Andre Either made this catch. He doesn't even have a win this year

This might be the 1st time that I ever agreed with you

Not so much his record, he got rocked in the 2010 WS and last year he blew a 4-1 in the 1st round of the playoffs. So I'm trying to figure out why is he so hyped up,

Well, while you try and figure that out the rest of us will know that it is because he is one of the top pitchers in baseball.

In 11 post season games he's 7 - 3 with a 2.52 ERA and 82 innings pitched. He's struck out 28% of the batters that he's faced while walking 3%. His strike out and walk rates combined with his batted ball rates suggest a pitcher who should give up about 2 runs per 9 innings.

If we multiply Lee's post season number by 3 to give him 33 starts (about a full season's worth) we get:
21 - 9 2.52 in 33 starts, 9 complete games, 246 innings, 198 hits, 6 HR, 30 walks and 267 K's.
That'd probably get you Cy Young most years.

So, sure, pick two bad games and ignore the rest. That makes sense.

Since the 2010 WS, Cliff Lee has not done anything and by that I mean the team he played for in the WS lost. The team he played for in the 1st round of the 2011 playoffs lost and was eliminated. This year he has yet to win a game he started. So I don't care about what stats you post because the man has not lived up to his reputation since the 2010 WS.

Are you aware that wins is a 'stat'? Why do you care about some stats and not others?

I suppose that Adron Chambers is a good player since his team won the World Series last year and Josh Hamilton is a bad players since his team lost?

No. Probably not.

But if you want misinformation, go to the media.

Currently, the AL East has 5 teams over .500 and the NL East has 4 teams over .500.
The AL East has a higher combined winning percentage .5422 than the East .5420
*Not that this matters for anything.
