Well if Doc loses any significant time and Utley and Howard return late or not at all you very well may be right
Given the season so far and the injuries I will take a little above .500 to this point. This will be a long season for the Phils. Never knwo though if they get healthy late they could make another run.
Their players are not talented but they came to Philadelphia and swept the Phillies? At some point you are going to have to realize that the Mets are improved and are not going anywhere no time soon.
I'd be surprised if the Mets don't finish under .500, though I will admit I've seen only an inning or two of them live this year. Batting averages will almost certainly decline for Murphy, Nieuwenhuis, and of course Wright, and their staff is currently anchored by 33-year-old Johan Santana and a knuckleballer. Their pythagorean win expectation is 22-27, the inverse of their actual record of 27-22. But they don't have a dominant closer, a running game, a tactical genius in the dugout, or really a single thing that makes you think they can continue to overachieve like that.

Well I;m not sure if they will win the division but they won't be in last place especially since the Phillies just lost Doc Halladay for 8 weeks.
They only have one good pitcher which means they will only win when Hamels is pitching and his record is 8-1. Cliff lee has always been overrated and was rocked in the World series in 2010 which is why I don't know why he was signed.
