I thought it was interesting (right after Utley's at bat in the bottom of the 8th when the Dodgers were still leading 3-2) that Joe Buck mentioned that if no more scoring occurred and Verlander were to take the loss, that he would be the first World Series pitcher since 1963 to only give up two hits and still lose (in 1963, also at Dodger Stadium, in Game 4 of the Dodgers sweep of the Yankees, Whitey Ford only gave up two hits...a single, and a home run....both to Frank Howard).

I also heard that Altuve and Correa's back to back home runs = the first time that (back to back home runs) has ever happened during any extra innings (10th or later) in the history of the World Series .

Great win last night. I hope Houston wins so JV has a ring. This could shape out to be another fantastic WS.

Report: Yuli Gurriel suspended for the first five games of 2018 regular season – HardballTalk

I think a fine would have been enough.

Right now, the offense just needs to get going here. Wood had a no-hitter through five so far.

Yeah, that wasn't good. They need to win tomorrow night and go to LA with a cushion. Kershaw is on tomorrow and for game 7 as well. Now the Astros have to win at least one of the games with Kershaw pitching, that will be much harder than what they faced tonight. The game they won in LA was harder than hell to do, without Kershaw on the mound. I'm a little worried for the Stro's. Maybe they need to bring the orange out.

The Yuli Gurriel incident could really turn into some bad publicity.
