That was a great series, WTG Houston, you are the awesome new 2017 world series champions and the first team from Texas to ever win a WS! Well done, and I can't remember a more entertaining series. How did Houston win tonight? The odds were stacked against them from the beginning, but I think bringing out the orange uniforms put the Dodgers in a trance. I knew that would work, very smart. They should have done that last night for Halloween. It's been a great decade for baseball, glad the Stro's got a piece of the glory.

Was leaning towards rooting for Houston myself, since they had 2 players I really like from other teams I follow. Which were Brian McCann(formerly on the Atlanta Braves), and Justin Verlander(of the Detroit Tigers). I have nothing against the Dodgers btw, and won't be surprised if they won a World Series a few years from now, a la how it took Kansas City 2 tries in the mid-2010s till they won a WS in 2015!

Glad they did win this WS, and this will always be a WS I remember well. Especially game 5, that was a heck of a home run explosion of a game!

I've been a Houston fan going back to when they were the Colt 45s. I used to lay in bed when I was a kid and listen to their games on my transistor radio that were broadcast on WWL in New Orleans. Been a lot of ups and downs and sometimes I wondered if I would ever see them win a World Series. So glad to see them finally get that accomplished.

Default Texas really deserved this!

The state of Texas and especially Houston deserved this championship. Look at what they went through with the whole Hurricane Harvey disaster. I cannot say enough about how great offensively this team is. Pretty much every player on that starting lineup can pose a threat to opposing teams (Josh Reddick can even hit a home run). Josh Reddick now won a championship against the same team that traded him. He's probably thinking to himself that "Ha Ha they traded me and I won." Congratulations to the 2017 Houston Astros!

I'm very proud of the Astros. I never watched any sports before, but these games had me at the edge of my seat! Wife is a football fan and I find it so boring. I think I might start watching baseball. She can have her Texans games
