Hey, the Astros have their own Bartman now!

They're done.

Well, looking back 40 years, only 2 teams have won 2 or more World Series in a row, the Yankees & Blue Jays. Not surprised the Red Sox have made it this far, they played a great season, but they ain't got the job done yet. They have to get past last years World Series winner, the Houston Astros. Can Houston win 2 in a row and steal it away from the Sox?

Yes, a Texas Style Bar-B-Q requires a great beer for the occasion. Drink up Astros!

The last 3 games is a completely different team than the first 4 playoff games. Yes, I know the Sox are better than the Indians, but what happened to the team that went into Boston and took 2/3 in September?

Boston won 108 games for a reason. Their outfield made the difference last night.

Astros walking 3 people in an inning won't get it done.

Yeah - I thought about him last night.

Everything in the rulebook says that should have been a home run.

Well, the Astros are going to play some golf now. Game 4's disappointment led to more misery in Game 5. If only the 'Stros had won Game 4....

So, now, McCullers and Altuve are going to have surgery. The latter should be healed up just in time for Spring Training. We will see just how Jeff Luhnow will go about in how to make the 2019 team better for next season.

Houston didn't get a lot of love this time around, they needed another hurricane to get the sympathy going again, but Florida stole their thunder this time. I enjoyed last year's Astro win, and was hoping in this postseason play, that you guys would be able to hang in there until Miller Time. Guess there's no reason to cry over spilled beer, that mug is empty. We must carry on. I hope the Astros fan base is expanding into Ranger's territory and you're driving the Yankees out of Louisiana.

I had fun watching the series last year, it was much more entertaining than the average WS play, not as good as The Royals beating The Mets at Citibank Field, or Cubs doing another blanket job on the Indians (which was so sad for the poor Indians). Maybe the Indians can get another match with The Braves, like in '95. The only thing an Indian can beat, is another Indian. Let it be so, and let the Braves be the ones to fall this time, to the Indians.

Good luck to the Astros, glad you're back to normal, ooops I mean doing well and rebuilding.

Mofford, the Astros don't need a hurricane or any sympathy to be a successful franchise. While I'm thankful for last year's outpouring of support last year, hurricanes don't always a great season make. People haven't even talked about last year's Jeff Bagwell election and induction to baseball's Hall of Fame nearly as much. They had a storybook season last year, with so many things falling into place, including said hurricane. This year, they just had the wrong people battling injuries at a bad time, most notably Altuve, who has had to resist knee surgery ever since July. July. It takes twenty-five good players to make a championship team, with all cylinders running just right. Boston was just a little better and they made a few more good plays.

Houston will be back after a little tweaking. We've got a few players going into free agency this offseason, and so we'll see who Jeff Luhnow can bring in to bolster the pitching and the lineup.

Oh, and the Astros have always had fans in Louisiana. Our radio network includes Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and Alexandria.

Not that it means anything, but interesting to note. Astros made the playoffs 3 times each in the 80ís, 90ís, 2000ís and now the 2010ís. 2019?

Oh, they'll be back. I think you'll see a rivalry going between the Astros and Red Sox the next few years as both will be at the top of their respective divisions.
