The Astros are off to a roaring start, with three home runs in a 5-1 win in St Pete over the Tampa Bay Rays. This makes seven consecutive Opening Day wins for the 'Stros.

And now, the 'Stros are 1-2. It's been quite a few years since Houston sported a sub-.500 record during the regular season, but that's what we have at present. Astros need to hit and get on base. And we get Correa back tomorrow.

If nothing else, the Astros have an opportunity to break out of this gosh-awful slump they're in and come home for some home cooking. The pitching's been mostly good, but the offense has sputtered after that great Opening Day win.

They're capable. They just need to click now.

I’ll be at Saturday’s game. Go Astros!

I don’t know. I have weird feeling about this year that I’m hoping to be proven wrong. The Astros have the talent and all And are expected to win. What is concerning to me is for some reason, I feel the players believe that they are just going to go through the motions and still win. Maybe they are a little too cocky and it might bite them in the butt.

This is not a complacent team. The thing is, teams, even good teams, tend to go through slumps from time to time. It's a long season. Besides, the Yankees and Red Sox are also off to slow starts, and they, along with the Astros, are still the three best teams in baseball.

Meanwhile, Astros are up, 5-0, on Oakland. It was a 4-run fifth.

Good game. We stood at the Phillips 66 Home Run Porch for the last 3 innings. Awesome view!

Most definitely. I hope to get back to Houston in August to check out the Astros' new Hall of Fame exhibit at Minute Maid.

Miley was excellent last night, and the offense finally arrived at the party.

Astros go back on the road after an enormously successful homestand, including their first-ever sweep of the Yankees.

Now, the real test comes against what I feel is an overachieving Seattle team. Houston still has to bring their A game.
