Really the only thing going good for the Rays right now.

I'm a Marlins fan but I LOVE watching Rodney pitch. His whole look and demeanor (part of which is the crooked hat) is facinating in that it's totally serious and goofy at the same time. For me it makes him one of the interesting players in the game.

I wore a fairly strict uniform K-12 as a kid. If you've been in that situation you understand how to get creative and express yourself in small ways. I totally appreciate that kind of thing, as long as there is a spontaneous quality to it, and I think that definity applies with Rodney. Great player and good for the game!

As a kid, my fav team was the Royals. Back then they had Al Hrabosky as their closer. He would psych himself up before facing batters - Mad Hungarian - I think MLB needs a few players like that.

Arguing baseball uniforms while the coaches still wear uniforms like they are players, people are really gonna be upset when advertisers buy space on MLB uniforms. I don't like he flat rimmed hat either but whatever backwards, sideways , it doesn't really matter. I like the high socks though.

Not too much mention of how amazing Rodney has performed this season.

Rodney has faced 241 hitters this season. He's struck out 26% of them while walking just 5%. He's induced ground balls 56% of the time. Those rates indicate a pitcher who should be giving up about 2.5 runs per 9 innings. Rodney's ERA is below 1.00

We took the team picture today. This version was a tribute to our closer.
