Too much of the Bay Area is still stuck on the Giants nuts for now and the A's never get any national attention. It's fine though, we're used to being ignored and it's their loss, they are missing one of the most exciting teams to watch. 11 walk-off's so far! I went to 2 of the 4 games over the series and have been going all season long, never gave up hope like some after their 9-game losing streak.
Moneyball 2012! Feels great to beat a team with nearly 4X our payroll.
I hope this earns them more nationally-televised games. This reminds me of the 2000-03 teams all over again, except most of us didn't see this coming, at least not this quickly. Beane took a lot of flack for those offseason trades, but he's having the last laugh tight now.
Landing Cespedes was a gold mine, and I'm still surprised the A's weren't outbid for him. Add in the usual scrap-heap Billy pick-ups like Reddick and Moss, and there is something special brewing in Oakland.
The A's looked good and what it really does is put the team on the radar of the others especially the GM's looking for trades. I have always had a soft spot for the A's and hope they do well but obviously not at my Yankees expense but i'd rather lose to you guys over the Red sox any day.

I think the feeling is mutual. Both teams took out the A's in the playoffs during our last run, but at least the Yankees did it with class.
When a team is red hot it's nearly impossible to beat them. Ask anyone who played the Yankees in June. The A's have some talent but are not yet ready to compete with the Rangers and Angels over the course of a season. This situation could change if the management ever becomes willing to spend some money.

unfortunatley, the A's ownership is just interested in relocating, Can't really blame them though, thier support is terrible, the Giants are the media darling. Really wish they would look at Sacramento instead of San Jose though.....

Do you think a new stadium would help?
