And also very lucky to be 3-10 as they could pretty easily be 0-13. The first win was against the Padres when they trailed 6-0 after the top of the 2nd before Erick Fedde stabilized the Padres and the offense got just enough runs to win; win number 2 was the finale of the Cards series where the Cards sat half of their lineup and they only lost by 1, and the 3rd win in Philadelphia saw the Phillies up 7-2 in the 8th inning before they had a complete implosion.
2-2 at LA wasn't bad.

With 2 of nest 3 series Mets-Nats, one of our teams should appear a bit healthier W-L. Mets play Fish, Nats play Cubs, next weekend, in between the 2 series between them.

Yah but 0-3 in Milwaukee and should've been 0-3 extremely fortunate to be 1-2 in Philly wasn't good so they even out.

I wish they had just gotten swept in LA to be honest. There would be no hope in that case they'd be 9.5 out I believe, but the 2-2 in LA doesn't do a damn thing when you lose 2 games in Milwaukee the way they did. Hopefully the Mets & Cubs can put them out of their misery this week.

I know your bullpen is awful. Curious, what other parts of the team do you expect less from now, than pre season, when you thought team would win a World Series?

Dozier sucks. I was high on him in the offseason, loved that signing when it happened, but man is he horrible.
Back end starting pitching. Scherzer can't get wins, would've preferred to keep Tanner over Annibal as the #4 but don't think that is moving the needle much.

Depth IMO may be biggest issue. When Soto is hurt, your replacements are subpar for even bench warmers IMO. Why is Taylor still there?

No idea. You remember when I said 2 off seasons ago they should've sold high on his performance in that NLDS series vs. the Cubs in 17 because he was NEVER gonna get back to that level he was at for those 5 games.

About to fall to 2-8 in series openers. At what point do we stop making excuses with the injuries and start laying this at the feet of the coaches?? 2-8 means you are UNPREPARED! If you are unprepared you shouldn't be managing or coaching!!

At this point I'm ready for a complete, everything must go fire sale! Only 3 people they should keep: Turner, Soto & Robles. As an impending free agent, Rendon needs to go, and the earlier we start shopping him, the better the return will be, because that playoff team acquiring his services will be getting him for more games. Doolittle can go too, rebuilding teams don't need "closers." Strasburg, Corbin & Scherzer can go though it's likely none of them will. All 3 can still pitch, though their contracts make them pretty unmovable. Everyone else on the 25 man roster/injured list can go for the right price and others (like Jeremy Hellickson & Ryan Zimmerman) can go for a pack of A ball rookie baseball cards.
