Had a 6-1 West Coast road trip including sweeping a 4 game series in Arizona against the NL best D'Backs which makes it 13 wins in their last 15 games and sets up a showdown between the 2 hottest teams in baseball right now. Yankees who have won 19 of their past 22 @ the Nationals winners of 13 of their past 15, and the Dodgers & Padres come in to wrap up this 8 game home stand.

Startled Nats are playing. I though a Nats game = an automatic rainout.

Default 24-21

1 game against the Yankees was suspended, the other postponed, and than got whupped up by the Dodgers over the weekend, and the question I posted on Twitter tonight:

Can't comment much on the first game from Saturday, game 2 they were getting no hit into the 6th inning, but somehow found themselves up 2 in the 8th and still up 1 in the 9th before 3 straight base hits gave the Dodgers the lead and the win. Also, not sure which team has more injuries Nats or the Dodgers as the Dodgers lost Rich Hill in the first inning of game 2, with the Nats losing Howie Kendrick in game 1 to add to another long list of Nats OF injuries this season. Maybe they should have kept Werth after all??

3 game home series vs. the Padres, off day Thursday and 3 games in Miami the schedule for this coming week.

I think he's down in extended Spring training doing more work. I figure by June 15 or so we'll see him. I was hoping June 1, but that's in 11 days so that might be too soon.

NL East has been a pleasant surprise, btw.

Just 1 doormat.

Default 30-22

2 of 3 from San Diego, including 19 year old Juan Soto's first big league home run, the first teenager since 2012 to hit a major league home run, coincidentally the last player to do it was Soto's OF mate Bryce Harper back in May of 2012, sweep of the Marlins, and a 6-0 shutout of the Birds in the Beltway battle on Memorial Day. 2 more games in Baltimore followed by 4 in Atlanta this week as the Nats are only a half game back in the division as the Braves & Mets split a double header.

Dodgers fan here. I still think you all will win the division & I really don't want to face you in the playoffs.

Nats are playing great, but Braves IMO win division.

Top 3 NL East 23 losses. Mets 4th at 27.

I focus on loss counts, as games played are never same, especially given bad weather so far.
