Matheny was exactly right with his bullpen.

You have to use your best pitchers when you can't afford to give up a run. No use saving your best pitcher for an inning that might never come.

It was do or die, Johnson should have pulled Storen out, you could immediately tell he didn't have it and the game was going to be lost. The real culprit/s are the GMs, they shut down Strasburg.
