Heyward up in a big spot.

Look for sliders for Rzep. 5 of 6 pitches Rzep has thrown Heyward have been sliders

Chipper grounds out with two on to end a rally in the 7th.

No longer guaranteed another plate appearance.

That was a TERRIBLE call, and I am a STL supporter. A shame the fans reacted like that.

Absolutely correct call. The infielder was under the ball, facing toward the infield. When that happens, the IFR is always called, that is the basic rule of thumb used by all umpires. Kozma was then called off by Holliday, but Kozma's feet were planted within a foot or two of where the ball fell. Umps don't have to call it immediately off the bat, which would be premature. The call is not made until it is clear to the ump that the ball can be caught with ordinary effort by an infielder facing into the infield.

I've umpired a lot of games, and as soon as I saw Kozma camped under the ball, facing the infield, I called it IFR myself, even before it dropped.
