I just wanted to take a moment to thank Larry Wayne "Chipper" Jones for all of the memories and the good times. Chipper was a class act all the way and I will miss him next year.

From Turner Field to the Hall of Fame.

Last of a dying breed, you wont see too many players who stay with 1 team their entire careers.

I'm not a Braves fan, but a baseball fan. I always respected Chipper Jones. However, his last play on the ball field was one I'd like to forget. Not hustling down the line on that groundball that would've been the final out and the end of the Braves' season. Many players, even on routine groundballs are running it out.

He's over 40 with bad knees. That's about as fast as he can run.

He certainly has my respect as a ballplayer.

I am sure he would be have been a 3000 hit, 500 HR guy if it were not for a few of those injuries in his prime. He's also been a playoff mainstay leading the Braves over the last couple decades!

A great player that I am sure Braves fans, and baseball fans will miss!

Yep, a great player. I guess Father Time catches up with all of us.

Chipper Jones embodies what good sportsmanship is, and he is the consummate baseball player. I can't stand the Braves, but have always respected Chipper Jones.
