Well, I hope they re-sign everybody next season, including Drew Storen. We need them all back...Well, maybe not Edwin Jackson, him they can release

What's wrong with Edwin? Granted he's not the greatest, but as a 4th starter, you can do worse.

It's not horrible either. It's a relatively small sample size. He's only pitched in 9 games in the postseason his whole career and 4 of his appearances was as a reliever. He has a total ERA of 5.46.

He can be inconsistent, but for someone that is 29 with his arm, I'm just curious as to who else, would replace him that is better?

I am opposed to killing closers for blown saves.

Not sure you understand how MLB contracts work. Can't blame you, it's a bit confusing.

Drew Storen is under team control next season. He'll certainly be back.
Jackson was on a very team-friendly 1-year contract. He's a free agent.

it's twitter

if you're going to get bent out of shape about what's on there and take things personally then put it down

have fun with it and when it's not fun, walk away

it's an unfiltered way for any dope looking to get a rise to act out

it's absolutely unacceptable, but all too common ...... i'm glad that people continue to speak out against such things and hope it improves, but if anything I see the sporting/fan culture in the US just getting worse & worse

yeap, I can pretty much say with about 85% certainty that Edwin Jackson will not be wearing the curly W next season

The Nats will be hard pressed to replace him with a better pitcher.

I need to get on my 2012 version of "What is an Ace". I think that Jackson will rate higher than you expect

Edwin Jackson could be an ace elsewhere, just not with the Nats
