what kind of spectator sports put you to sleep?
Basketball. Dribble, dribble, shoot.

Soccer. Would rather watch paint dry.

Actually neither put me to sleep because I never watch.

Fishing? How can anyone watch a fishing show. You know what is going to happen...they are going to catch a fish. I don't get it.

I have grown to like it.

I'd rather watch womens fastpitch softball, though.
Much faster game.

Australian rules football is a real sport unlike the thing played here where they dress up in forty pounds of armour and play stops dead every few seconds. Boring as hell.

Hockey and Lacrosse would kill most of your football players from massive coronaries in the first five minutes of play.

Baseball is akin to your Nascar as the immortal Jackie Stewart summed it up once "go like hell and turn left". One could almost use the same analogy for baseball: hit the ball hard and run around to the left; yep a thinking man's game alrighty.

It's not about the game. It's about the beer and the hot dogs and sharing them with friends.

Put a hundred bucks on any sporting event, and it is no longer boring.

Golf is always boring regardless.
when I see a bunch of crazed baseball fans going ape**** over the world series, I always used to think wow what the hell are they so excited about it? do they have a lot of money riding on the game or what? what is in it for them if their teams wins or loses? gambling is the only thing that could explain it. otherwise who gives a sh*t who wins?

I did enjoy playing baseball with my friends when I was a kid, so I will say that for it. but watching strangers playing the game is not very fun at all, unless you happen to know someone personally on the team that you could root for, then I don't know there is to get so worked up about. if americans spent half the time playing baseball as they do watching it maybe they wouldn't be so damn obese lol.
