If they win several matches in a row - is it called a "clean sweep"?

jtur should be along shortly to explain why curling used to be a great sport but has been ruined by the creation of divisions and wild cards, adding the designated sweepers, the installation of Astro-Ice and the introduction of aluminum brooms.

Who would watch fishing if it were televised live? The only way it can be exciting is to edit out 99% of it.

Everyone has their own preferences so I think these kinds of discussions are silly. Why knock a sport someone else enjoys just because you don't understand what makes the game so special?

Personally, I love baseball, football, hockey, and basketball. I used to hate soccer but I can easily watch the World Cup and understand why the world is so into the game.

I have never watched golf to an extent, and I think the TV coverage of the event is convoluted so I won't comment on whether I find it exciting or not (anyways, just because I don't appreciate the beauty of the game of golf does not justify any attacks against the sport itself).

If I grew up being fed Ritalin I'd probably find baseball boring too.
