Fishing? How can anyone watch a fishing show. You know what is going to happen...they are going to catch a fish. I don't get it.
The excitement is in the possibility that either they won't catch a fish - or that the fish that they do catch will be so big that it will swamp the boat.
My favorite sports are college football, politics, marathon running, and modern pentathlon.
No sport puts me to sleep.
Even soccer is rather interesting - it is like a really long game of chess where the pieces aren't limited to moving on certain squares or have to relocate in a particular manner - and it involves a ball.
NASCAR is much the same - it is chess on wheels at 200 mph - unless they are racing at Martinsville or Bristol.
I'm a HUGE baseball fan..grew up watching. My brother is a semi pro player, Father was the president of the local Babe Ruth little league for a number of years and I follow my favorite teams (Giants and Angels!) plus I also catch as many college games and semi pro games as I can.

As for football, soccer etc....no thanks, I can't see how anyone can watch that. So, it really comes down to personal preference.
I've seen some really remarkable curling shots...don't 'knock' it...
