It's about time!

Baseball sources confirm 2015 All-Star Game coming to Cincinnati
Quote:
The Midsummer Classic will return to Cincinnati in 2015, baseball sources confirmed.

Commissioner Bud Selig will be in town Wednesday to announce the newest Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy. The academy will be built in Cincinnati, the first one in the Midwest.

Selig is expected to announce the All-Star Game at that time.

The Reds had no comment on matter Monday night. CEO Bob Castellini said on Opening Day that the All-Star Game was coming to Cincinnati, but he would not say the specific year.

Can't wait! It'll be exciting to see how we'll be like a huge city again all of the people that will be coming in town. The Banks will be very far along at that point too.

Great news since it's this close to Milwaukee I might try to get tickets for this, MKE is only 5.5 hours away from Cincy.

With Great American Ballpark's short distances, the home run derby ought to be interesting.

Lots of good happening to the City of Cincinnati right now. 2015 will be a magnificent time to showcase everything the city's done in the past decade to turn itself around.

Very good news for those folks and good, also, for baseball in general. It's been a long time coming, but Cincy's just ideal with all the history they have.

True but leaving MKE either early or late usually fixes that problem, 294 is not that bad. Last time I was in Cincy was this past summer, I really like that town. Cincy is setup different than most cites in terms of it's layout.
