Well, I am starting this mainly cause our AR HOGS are rated number one in the pre season polls or in about 3 polls anyway. I really don't like it when a team is rated this high, they can go nowhere but down I am afraid, but it still is a good feeling, after the horrible football season and our basketball road season so far.

My University of New Mexico Lobos are also rated in the top 35.

Looking forward to catching a few games

I'll never get in to college baseball simply because they use metal bats. Sorry, that's not baseball. I would rather see an independent league game any day over the best college team, for that reason and that reason alone.

I guess it is a product of the part of the country I live...............I don't care about college baseball at all; give me independent minor league ball and above!

I like it as there are many good teams in my vicinity. Starting at home with the Rice Owls who have a solid program. U of Houston is good too. The Aggies and Horns are not far away and they compete for the CWS often.

yes, minor league can be fun as well, but college ball of any kind has a place in my heart, especially when our team is rated so high.

Lost our first game today

4 - 2 when OK scored twice in the top of the ninth

We had 2 well hit balls with 2 men on in the bottom of the ninth, but couldn't get it done

I have found a huge difference between minor league and college baseball games.

I find the college guys are playing to win the game, while the minor league players are playing to impress the scouts/brass and get promoted (or dealt to another organization) to the next level.

Well, that makes sense. The purpose of the minor leagues is to produce players for the major league team.

Though, certainly there are many college players who are also trying to catch the eye of a scout.
