Unfortunately, my phone got stolen the other day, and my new phone isn't MLB At Bat compatible, so there go my recaps since that's where I got everything from, so these won't be much, though I probably will recap every day now instead of once the series ends.

They won on Monday, and followed that up with a 19 inning loss Tuesday (courtesy of another Osuna blown save), and than an uninspiring 6-1 loss today in the finale. They'll have Thursday off and play the Tigers at home over the weekend while I believe the Red Sox host the A's.

Lost to the Tigers 5-4 this evening. Unfortunately, was having dinner with my family, and missed all of this, and with no phone can't comment. Game 2 of the series tomorrow at 1:07.

I feel bad for you guys. I'm an Indians fan and I argued that Shapiro was a poor GM for years. That his initial praise came on the coat tails and actions of those who came before him.

Look at the success the Indians have had once they got rid of him.

Saturday: Tigers 4 @ Jays 5. Pillar went 4-4 with a run and 2 RBI's.
Sunday: Tigers 2 @ Jays 8. I like these young kids for the Jays. Teoscar Hernandez who came over in the Liriano trade, had 2 home runs and 5 RBI's, and young shortstop Richard Urena had a couple hits the last 2 games of the weekend.

Baltimore comes in for 3 games beginning on Monday night. Marco Estrada (7-8, 5.00) starts for the Jays against Ubaldo Jimenez (5-9, 6.80). Game time at 7:07. Tigers head to Cleveland to start a 3 game series with the Indians who are winners of 18 straight games.

I thought all the success that they had came after he left the GM suite and went into the owner's suite. All I remember about Shapiro was in his first week on the job in Toronto he was already whining about how the old regime (Alex Anthopolous) got rid of all their good prospects which gave him nothing much to work with. Well, the team hadn't been to the playoffs in 22 years genius!! What do you want him to do, sit on his hands and do nothing just so you can trade them for 50 cents on the dollar, and get back some over the hill scrub?? I really soured on him after that comment.

Orioles 2 @ Jays 3. A Smoak 2 out double scored Luke Maile to give the Jays a 1-0 lead in the 3rd where it would stay to the 7th when with 1 out Trey Mancini doubled, and 2 batters later Mark Trumbo drove him in to tie it at 1, and Tim Beckham homered with 1 out in the 8th to put the O's up 2-1. Zach Brittan would come in to close out the 8th inning, but starting the 9th he walked Pillar, Teoscar Hernandez singled, following a force out a Maile infield hit tied the game and Richard Urena singled to win the game for the Jays. The Baby Jays coming through again

Orioles 2 @ Jays 1. Orioles got 2 unearned runs in the first as Tim Beckham started the game reaching on an error, 2 outs later Adam Jones would double him home, and Trey Mancinci would follow with a triple. glad the Twins don't have to face the Jays and Babe Donaldson anymore this year and that they reside in the East. Until this week's split the Jays have won 11 0f the past 12 series between the two clubs,
