Not about the Blue Jays season, but I'm coaching AAU basketball in Connecticut. We had a tournament in Rhode Island over the weekend and one of the kids from one of the different teams that were in attendance (I think there were 5 or 6 AAU teams throughout New England at this tournament Saturday and Sunday) had on a pair of Blue Jays shorts. So, I go up talk to her ask her what team she plays for, etc. and than ask whether she was a Blue Jays fan to find out she was the daughter of Jays pitching coach Pete Walker, so yah that was pretty cool

The Sunday game in Cleveland was postponed as well, so now the off day they were supposed to have on May 3 will now be a double header. Quick 3 game home stand for the Jays before they hit the road again starts Monday against the Royals. Since both teams had games Sunday rained out, the scheduled starters will go on Monday and thatís Jaime Garcia (1-0, 3.18) for Toronto against Erik Skoglund (0-1, 9.64) with first pitch scheduled for 7:07.
