What other teams? I know of no other teams that continually squander their chances like the Cubs have done.

Very impressed on how the Cubs swept the last 3 games to take control of the series after being down 1-2. They deserve to go to the World Series, congrats. And a bigger congrats to their fans for sticking with them through all those painful years. Good luck in the World Series!

Taking a step back from tonight's frustrating game, it was a great season for the Dodgers. 4th straight Division title, which means we've been treated to playoff baseball for 4 straight years. Not many fanbases can say that.

Remember in the off season when we let Greinke walk, and the Giants picked up Cueto & Samardja (sp?)? We were supposed to take step back, but we did what many didn't think we'd do. Tons of injuries, but the team rallied and continued to get better. Obviously some upgrades need to be made, like a young 2nd baseman or something and another elite starting pitcher (easier said than done).

This Met fan agrees. You had an excellent season.

This Cubs fan is elated at last night's victory but sad to see Kershaw get beat up like that. I was hoping for something more like the 1-0 victory they had over Cueto in the NLDS. I hope Kershaw doesn't get scapegoated by Dodger fans and that they understand he did all he could to get them to this point. Please give him a warm welcome home.

Good year. I still think the pitching order would have been better with Kershaw pitching game 5 but ah well, the Cubs were going to win no matter what I think. Clearly the best team in baseball. Can't really care about the WS though. Couldn't care less about either team. haha

Since 2004, the Dodgers have made the playoffs 8 times, the LCS 4 times, and without a single World Series apperance to show for it

In 3 of the last 4 years the Dodgers have been eliminated from the postseason, the starting pitcher has been Kershaw..
