When Gene Michael was managing the Cubs back in the 1980's he would have a stupid answer for every stupid question. He would keep a perfectly straight face while everyone else was cracking up.

Reporter: Gene, do you think that winning this series with the Braves is important to your club?

Michael: No, I don't think it's important at all.

FOX doesn't know how to broadcast sports. It's all gimmicks with them. I miss the days when NBC had baseball. You have to go back to the 90's. They did it right. It was only about the game with only the best announcers in the business.
At times Baseball will get dull watching it on TV. I'm assuming it's their reason for using the those strategies. Doesn't make that much better eh. I don't have an issue with it or the announcers.

I cannot believe nobody mentioned Chris Berman. I guess I'm the only one that likes Berman.

Berman should only be allowed on air after drinking several beers.

Aside from the Home Run Derby and whatever he does for football, we don't need him for much else.

What about the guys on ABC? Al Michaels, Howard Cosell, ect. As for interviews I probably would suggest mutting the TV before the game starts and I agree with you with announcers interviewing managers and players during the game, I just hate it. TBS does this too. I don't know if you even like any of ESPN's MLB announcers, especially Chris Berman, with his back, back, back quote.
