Baseball scoring question, is it a hit?

I have a question. The bases are loaded with one out. The batter hits what could have been an easy double but gets greedy and tries to go to third and ends up being tagged out at third. He scored 3 RBI's but it now out. How should I score this and most importantly does he get credit for a hit in his stats?

I do believe he would be credited with a double.

Batter is credited with a double and 3 RBI, the outfielder gets an assist, the thirdbaseman gets a putout.
