Thanks for not making a Soler thread. I don't want him to start sucking too. LOL! I agree though. Give it time. Anthony Rizzo had a batting average of .141 with the Padres in his big-league stint in 2011. He was an all-star this season for the Cubbies.
Baez is only 21 and can still get better. Because the Cubs have nothing to play for, the important thing now is getting him some at-bats (which are always exciting) and giving Cubs nation something to look forward to. While being a Cubs fan is hard, it's nice to finally be able to say "wait til next year" and actually mean it. Rizzo, Castro, Baez, Arismendy Alcantara, Addison Russell, Kris Bryant, and Jorge Soler are all good or potentially good young MLB players. I hope they all can gel and win it all before I die.
