How would you react if the 2014 New York Yankees win the World Series, and somehow, they're better offensively, somehow pitcher Masahiro Tanaka is healthy, and the same with Carlos Beltran?
I don't even get why Tanaka is coming back. Why risk him for all of next year to get, what 2 starts out of him max, with nothing to play for??
As I said to someone the other day, if you shut him down, but he gets hurt next year?? oh well, that's tough luck. if you start him for 2 games AND he gets hurt in this year so you miss him for next season as well?? That's entirely your fault.
If this team were to win the World Series, when the last putout was made my alarm clock would probably go off and I would disgustedly throw it out the window.
Um, you should have included one more choice - I'd barf.
Is that before or after you realized the only way the Yankees could possibly make it to the WS was through the biggest fix conspiracy in the history of professional sports?
Other than the 1919 Black Sox scandal what fixes have occurred? Inquiring minds want to know.
If a conspiracy is afoot to help the Yankees, apparently the umpires don't know about it. As of 3 days ago Joe Girardi had been successful on 21 of 26 appeals. The idea of a pro-Yankee conspiracy suggests to me that many years of losing to the Yanks can cause paranoia.
