The NL Central is going to be tough, and the Cubs would still be hard-pressed to beat my Cardinals. I have St Louis pegged for first until someone dethrones them.

And I don't think that will come soon.

I am not saying that this will make the Cubs a contender for the division, but their acquisition of Dexter Fowler suddenly makes their lineup look a little better. Having a legitimate leadoff hitter will lead to more runs with all the power hitters they are going to stack through the middle of their order.
