Beltran hit another homerun last night. I really like seeing him do well, he has that vibe to him that I like

On a side note how long can the Yankees keep sticking with Stephen Drew? He's been terrible, like historically terrible. 2011 Adam Dunn looks like Hank Aaron in comparison with this idiot

In Hamilton's home debut, they lose to the Red Sox, 5-1, but the lone run was scored on a hit by Josh in the 9th. He also had a double on the first pitch he saw on the night in front of a surprisingly (in my opinion) welcoming crowd.

Tonight, he blasted his first homer of 2015. But the Red Sox have tied the game after falling behind, 2-0.

EDIT: As soon as I post this, Hamilton hits his second homer of the game!
Hamilton is a POS. Comes to the Angels on a huge salary, does absolutely nothing here, falls off the wagon and then throws everyone in Anaheim under the bus as he gets paid to leave. Worthless garbage.

The top three teams in the AL this year went 56-106, 63-99, and 71-91 just four years ago

I'm an Angels fan, this is a strange year for the AL. Angels have been playing like crap pretty much all year and they still have one of the best records in the league and a win today away from a 4 game sweep of the Tigers.

Yankees have been horrible after losing Ellsbury (I think we're like 5-13 since that point) yet we're still tied for first

Raise your hands if on June 1 you had the Twins, Astros & Cardinals as the only 3 teams in baseball to playing at or over .600 ball??
The Cardinals I'm not surprised at because their the freaking Cardinals but I thought the division would beat itself up and would look more like the AL East (where 3 or 4 teams are within 3.5 games of each other) then what it is now.
Astros not really either. I think I finished them to crack .500 but had no clue they'd be this good.
Remember when the Twins started the season 1-6 and got outscored the first series in Detroit 22-1?? Seems like that happened 6 years ago, didn't it??

He never should have left Texas, he belongs here. I feel like his now ex-wife probably made him go to LA. She was a POS. Now he's back in Arlington performing again. Yesterday, he had a walkoff pinch-hit 2 RBI double yesterday to beat the Red Sox, 4-3 and help the Rangers improve to over .500 for the first time this season.

Several teams have recovered from rotten starts in 2015. Washington was 9-13 at the end of April and now their 28-22 record has them in first place in the NL East. The Giants were 3-9 after the first dozen games and have gone 27-13 since.

Another team Texas: After play on May 1 they were 7-15; after play on June 1 (they are off tonight) they are 26-25, 19-10 this month to go from 8 under to 1 over.
