Nothing to add, but this Met fan is very sad. So young, was talented.

I saw this late last night. Very sad. I remember when he was out top pitching prospect, then he came up and got back to back wins in his first 2 starts. Such a bright star. So sad to see someone so young pass. Wonder what caused it?

Hasn't pitched in the majors since 2013. He used to be a fabulous prospect for Atlanta who ended up 49-35 in his career. The last place he was was the Giants' organization but never was called up to the bigs this year.

Reported to be catastrophic organ failure. He'll be missed.

Catastrophic organ failure sounds like a heroin overdose.

The latest is that the 911 call was for an overdose. So sad.

It sounded like it could take several months for all of the tests to come back to confirm the cause of death. So, we could be waiting awhile to confirm whether it was an overdose or something else that killed him.
