1000 miles. The Kansas City Royals are my team. When I first moved here, I adopted the Nationals as my second favorite team because I wanted a local team to follow and the National league doesn't really interfere with being a KC fan. It's odd because I was actually a Nats fan several years before most DC area people decided to be Nat's fans (they were not very good and drew very poorly when we first moved here). So I have been a Nats fans longer than most current Nats fans. . It's good to see DC build up a MLB fan base though and it's been fun watching the area around Nats stadium explode with new development. I still think Royals games are more fun though. Nats fans are way too laid back and "boring". They are just not as into the games as KC fans are. O's fans are more like KC fans.
We also enjoy going to O's games and will pull for them when it doesn't effect the Royals. We just like baseball and while we see the Royals play in stadiums all around the country every year, sometimes I just want go to a local game and pull for the local team.
If the Nats ever play KC in the World Series, there would be no question. I would be 100% Royals fan.
25 miles, Tropicana Field. Partial season ticket holder.
It's 4428 miles from Tower Bridge, London to the Tropicana Stadium, FL.
I live in the U.K. but enjoy a ball game when it's on Channel 5 here, and I try to catch a game if I'm in the U.S. between May and September.
I've been to Yankee Stadium in NYC, Oriole Park, Baltimore MD, tried to see the Red Sox at Fenway Park in Boston, but couldn't get a ticket, but I've watched the Rays in Tampa the most, as Florida's where we tend to vacation the most.
So for that reason alone I consider the Tampa Bay Devil Rays to be my team.
True but I was calculating how far by car and I wouldn't exactly know how to figure out how long it would take for me to get from hometown to Anaheim Stadium. If I'd guess, it probably would take at least 4-5 hours.
