Sweep the Brewers.... 2 of 3 in the last two series against the Cards.... Cubs are taking care of business. Good thing since the Brewers are in the midst of a cush series against the Nationals, then go out West for 6 games, then have something of a challenge against the Astros, then play two cush series against the Pirates...

The Cubs are pretty much cruising now. They're definitely the best team in the National League.

In other news, Chris Carpenter has a tricep strain. He could be out as few as two days if it's mild, but if it's severe it could be six months. I doubt it's that bad, but how crappy that he's just getting back into the groove, and he's already sidelined with an injury. Not cool.

Chris Carpenter was actually very well tonight...it sucks he got injured

how about Ryan Dempster this year, huh?

trying to confuse the hitters............... it makes his pitches look like they have more movement.

I don't think a Brewers fan has a leg to stand on trying to down the Cubs. The Cubs swept the Brewers, beating both of their aces.
