I do hope the Mets get the wildcard, though, nothing would be more exciting than a Phils-Mets postseason series.

From reggie bush to Chuck D to Eazy E to Eric B. to Snoop Dogg to Ice Cube to Dr. Dre...it's already been decided:

Classic Logo
Here's a link to another classic MLB logo:
http://www.sportslogos.net/images/lo.../full/1342.gif
The Browns were the forerunners to the Orioles and the Orange and Brown gave way to the Orange and Black of the Baltimore Orioles, whose logos I have always liked. My favorite is the cursive Orioles with the bird atop it with the baseball diamond background.
I think it's hard to separate the love of a team and be really objective about the logos. Another favorite is the Twin Cities logo of the Twins in the 70s with the state as background.
Many of youo have mentioned the classic Yankees, Dodgers, and the stylized "M" of the Mets. The Cheif Wahoo one for the Indians and it's Braves counterparts were great, too.

Among current teams, the Diamondbacks have my favorite logo. I love the snake motif and think they use the best colors, red and black.

And what don't you like about the Pirates' logo? One of the few that still harks back to the beginning. There's nothing wrong with that! (And I've always thought that the only design worse than that striped Astro disaster was the all red uniforms worn by the Indians, I think it was in the early 1980s. Looked like they were taking the field in pajamas!)

The Pirates logo itself is great. Its those ugly flat hats and the yellow uniforms that were awful.
