Absolutely! Win, lose, or draw, Santana was just a stud today!
Great performance!
If it wasn't for Santana, the Mets would be way out of playoff contention. Even if they squeak in...they go nowhere. Sorry, but the Mets are weak, especially with that AAA pitching staff after Santana. The balance of power has long shifted in the NL East, and the Mets are second fiddle at this point.
Whatever happens tomorrow with the wild card will be OK, I guess. It always warms my heart to see the Mets lose....but, the potential of a Mets-Phils NLCS would be exciting.

Never happen....the stinking Mets will go out first round, if they even get in....they have no relief pitching. The Cubbies will crush them like bugs.

I agree 1000% I call a spade a spade even though I'm a Mets fan - the truth and facts must be told.
Calico, are you a Phillie fan?
Nothing wrong if you are - I'm just curious that's all.
Then again we could have a NY Giants (football) scenario when the real underdog took it all - you just never know.
I expect a Mets loss today no matter if Manual uses every pitcher on his roster and a Brewers win. However if they're both tied by the end of today the Mets will choke in the wild card playoff game tomorrow.
