That was funny as He&%

Had that vintage Phillies Burguny color. All Craig Sager needed was a P on his sleeve. LMAO

Tonites game should be good, My aunt from 2nd Precinct is grumbling cause she has to pull double duty for security

It seems like the team is as popular as it ever was, even giving the birds a run for their money. Was this always the case or was it just recently?

You're kidding right? I never thought I would hear anything worse than Buck and McCarver, but now I have.

Anyway, I hope the Phils can take care of that Dodger trash tonight! I will be happy to see them go down.

A Yankees/Phillies WS would be awesome!

TBS announcers aren't all that good, but I really hate Buck and McCarver. I'd rather hear two chimpanzees call a game.

I'll be there tonight, it should be nuts if they win. I am definitely looking forward to a Turnpike Series. Should also be fun here in Scranton, which is full of both Yanks and Phils fans. Some good games to watch at a bar.

Man, why does everyone hate Buck and McCarver? They must be the most vilified announcers on the interweb.

I don't have every dumb thing he's ever said but I was watching a Saturday afternoon game one time and he was ranting about how the Angels are overrated and how they do nothing well and Rex Hudler basically told him he doesn't know jack about baseball and the only reason he's there is because of his daddy. I stood up and applauded. Everything is about how the Cardinals and Yankees are so great and teams like the Angels, Phillies, etc are nobodies. He has no excitement. In football, everything is always about how great Dallas is and how the Eagles stink. Not to mention his calls (regular or postseason) are about as exciting as watching paint dry. There's a reason fans put the game on mute and turn on the radio when he's in the booth.

People always say they do this, isn't the radio 3-4 seconds ahead of the Television broadcast (and like 10 if its on HD)? I can't watch a game where the sound is ahead of the game itself.

I would like to apologize to all phillies fans when I ridiculed them for even thinking the Phils had a chance to get to the world series.

I was wrong, I went even as far to say I didn't think the Phil's were going to make the playoffs.

Apologize accepted. I must say though that such bold predictions seem a little rash coming from a fan of a team that has made the playoffs once in 28 years.
