I completely agree with ya that H does indeed come after G. Guess I took my cue from Cordero.
Anyway, we've beaten the letter I to death here. Anyone interested in a wild card whereas a substitution of any other letter could be made?
In the meantime...
Walt Irwin - had 1 AB with the Cardinals in 1921. He struck out and is also credited with scoring a run. Interesting.

Let's see, how about Joe Lahoud. An outfielder and 1st baseman, he managed to hang around for a full decade (1968-1978) in the majors despite having little power and a career batting average of .223.

Charles "Cotton" Nash, an OFer/1st baseman who only had 19 plate appearances in the late 1960's. However, he hit 30 or more HRs three times in the minors.
Though certainly an obscure baseball player, Cotton Nash was very well known as a college basketball player, earning an All American selection while playing for Adolph Rupp at the University of Kentucky.
