Anthony Young - righty who went 2-14 with the '92 Mets. They brought him back in '93 and saw him go 1-16. The Cubs, seeing the value of such a pitcher, picked him up in '94.

In fairness to Mr. Young: his ERAs in '92 and '93 respectively were 4.27 and 3.77 and he did play for a team that lost 193 games in those two seasons.

Walter Alston. Not known for his prowess as a player, but he had quite a career as a manager!

Message to scouts everywhere: Please use caution when recruiting players by the name of Edmondson. There have been 4 of them. Bob, Brian, George and Paul. They played in a combined 193 games. Also be advised of its alternative spellings: Eddie Edmonson played in 2 games and Sam Edmonston a total of 68 games.
