Jim Rice gets in! My favorite player as a kid and IMO deserving. From 75-86 he led the majors in: HRs, RBIs, Runs, Hits, Total Bases and Slugging%. He was arguably the best offensive player during these peak years. I'm sure the debate will go on...

Interestingly, did you notice that McGwire got less votes this year than last year - 21.9% this year compared to 23.6% last year.

That downward trend with McGwire will probably continue. By the way, glad to see Rice and Henderson both get in!

Same here, despite Rickey Henderson not being in about 28 ballots of writers. I think they did not like Rickey's type of play or the fact that he played for so many teams.
