That is a surprise, I suspect this means that Escobar might be proposed as part of a package in trade for Peavy.

I'm surprised with this too. At one point, I was thinking Furcal was heading to Oakland. As for Atlanta and their intentions, it sure helps that the Cubs were unable to make a deal for Peavy.

Okay, when I posted this yesterday the word from Fox Sports was that Furcal was going to Atlanta. As the day went on, the story changed to leaning towards Atlanta. Now it looks like the Dodgers may be retaining him after all.

define agent : soulless slime that would pimp there own mothers.

.....and I'm a cubs fan.

These filth offer nothing to society but to leach off others talent.
I could never condone any form of prejudice.... yet I get why people
might want to use human trash like these for scientific experiments.

What Paul Kinzer and Arn Tellem did to John Schuerholz wasn't illegal, but it was shady and straight up bad business. Usually, when an agent gets the sighned term sheet it means that's a DONE DEAL, the guys for WMG should've informed Frank and John of their backing out of the deal and not shopping that terms sheet around. Shady business methods.
