Another good game.Nice to see Tex had a great eye at the plate.Even though Arod hit the game winner, his swing isn't right. The pitcher made a mistake and paid for it.

the New York Yankees even have some support among politicians. You can read about a student's interview with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at the student run website:Paly Voice: Give and Take with Condoleezza Rice (http://voice.paly.net/view_story.php?id=8464 - broken link)

The question is, do you really want your team associated with Condoleezza Rice?

The Bankees winning streak ends tomorrow...they'll be on a 3 game losing streak by the time Sunday's over. On the bright side for Yanks fans, the Fightin Phils will give the fans beyond the outfield wall some souvenir baseballs!

Another possible scenario is that the Phillies will look like their 1950 club that scored a grand total of 5 runs in the World Series.

How about the freeloader owners who rake in billions in TV money but don't use it to improve their teams? Meanwhile, the teams that generate this TV money by drawing large viewer audiences are the same teams that are constantly being criticized for trying to be winners.

Take it easy Fred. You're going to be asking for us to take it easy on you when we hit the playoffs and your team has their usual late season meltdown!
