Like most Yankee fans, I'm sure you don't know your team

You couldn't be more wrong.

let alone baseball in general.

And where are your posts that have any substance to them?

I haven't had any chance to actually talk baseball here because all I've actually seen of responded to is trash talk like your posts. It's easier to insult people than actually have a discussion.

It's too bad this is the internet where front-runner fans can cheat;

Too bad it's the Internet where people who are overly impressed with themselves can hide behind an online persona and make posts like yours. I've been online for 20 years, and I've seen a lot of the same type of attack posts you make. You know what? They don't get to me.

in real life, it's always fun to throw out numbers of Yankees players and see if the "Yankees fans" know them, because usually they don't and it's often a Mets fan who knows more about the Yankees than the braggadocious Yankee fans themselves.

Own a dictionary? A spell check?
You might want to try using them.

As for your snarky remark about not descending to my level - Yeah right, nothing's lower than an arrogant Yankee fan.

Or fans of unnamed teams who want to do nothing more than one-up other posters. I haven't seen you make a single post actually discussing baseball -- just spewing insults.

Only arrogant Red Sox fans, their long lost twins, are as bad.

So how are those roids treating A Rod these days???
And that's all you can say, isn't it? Insult the players, insult their fans? Wow -- real productive.

Enjoy your little boys club. I'm off to find adult discussion. I'm obviously not going to find anything like that here.

dude, I have no idea what team you root for, but I'm sure they're full of model citizens.

I can only assume by the "real baseball" comment that you're a fan of the National League, to each there own, but when there pitching around the ever dangerous Luis Castillo (or insert any other 8 hole hitter) because the next batter has an 022 batting average, it sure makes for an exciting brand of baseball.

Man, discrediting someones knowledge of baseball because she is a female is pointless and makes you sound like a complete moron. Trash talk her team if you want, or her knowledge of the game ( which she DOES have ) but dont disrespect her just because she's female.

GO RED SOX!

can't count that season because around 40-50 games were cancelled so who knows if we would have won the division even though we were winning.It would be like the Mets saying the last few years that they had it wrapped up a month before the end of the season,and we know how that turned out!

Where are yours? You whine about "trash talk" yet YOU are the one who started a thread that is themed on trash talk. "Baseballs [sic] Team of Teams - NEW YORK YANKEES!!!"??? That's not trash talk? Are you kidding? Get a clue. If you're going to whine about other people's "trash talk" then don't talk trash yourself. Typical Yankee fan - you can dish it out but you can't take it; you whine about no 'substance' from others while providing no substance yourself. Here's a clue for you - responses like "nice try" and "you couldn't be more wrong" don't have any 'substance'.

That's because you started a thread which has your own trash talk as the theme. Stop whining.

Yes, I have both, and I haven't misspelled anything; maybe you're the one who needs a dictionary and a spell check. For example, the title of this thread, "Baseballs Team of Teams..."; it should be "Baseball's team of teams..." You see, the apostrophe that comes between "Baseball" and the "s" indicates that it is the possessive form, not the plural.

How many times did you not look at my "status" to see that it says "LET'S GO METS!!!"??? Not my problem that you're observation is lacking. Besides, the theme of this thread is the stupid ass Yankees, not the teams that other people like.

And I haven't seen a single post from you discussing baseball -- just spewing ignorant trash talk.

Good luck finding your adult discussion, I don't know who will have such a discussion with a trash-talking immature Yankee fan.

I didn't discredit her knowledge for being female; I discredit her knowledge based on her lack of demonstrating it, which is typical for 99.99% of female Yankee fans. If she were a male Yankee fan, it would be typical for 99.00% of male Yankee fans. Her sex has far less to do with it than does her being a Yankee fan.

Of course, I wouldn't expect you, as a Red Sux fan, to understand that any better than Buckner can field grounders...

Look at my "status", I don't know how so many ignorant people miss that. Other Mets fans see it no problem.

Yes, I'm a fan of the National League, REAL baseball, aka the Senior Circuit. I'm sure if you changed the rules to include a rabid badger running loose on the field that would also make "for an exciting brand of baseball", but it would be just that, just another "brand of baseball", not REAL baseball.

I just dont have my head that far up my MOD CUT to see that some people regardless of who they root for can have intelligent conversation with some smack talk with out being a total MOD CUT. Off course you wouldnt understand. Wow your one moment of glory being a Mets fan was Billy B. We've gotten past that, and since you guys havent won jack since then I guess thats all you have left to dwell on. Its ok though, your team is great for chocking in the last week of the season. MOD CUT

You sure do talk a ton of trash for someone who wont admit who he roots for.
