look for them to rebound when they come home against philadelphia and the pitching matchups swing in their favor

yesterday was a tough one - today is predictably tough

nolasco has had a couple shakey moments, but looked decent

maholm looks good (which is not a surpise, maholm is a very, very good pitcher)

hopefully they can extend him a little in the 6th and then the pirates will remove him to start the 7th if his spot comes around in the 6th

this one will probably come down to the bullpen

trust me - there is zero panic in marlins land

ugh - nolasco need to quit giving up doubles

they were able to get to maholm and will face the pirates pen 7-9 .... but have fallen behind again

5-4 buccs

d'oh - a bad throw on a guy going from 2nd to 3rd allows him to go from 3rd to home

6-4 ...... inning is over though

will take some work - offense has to be a bit frustrated right now working them back into the game in each of the past 3 innings only to have pitching and an error keep them in the same exact position

I would like to second the nomination of the poster from Buffalo. Isn't it amazing when people get excited because a team starts off the season with eleven wins in twelve games? It's APRIL...an 11-1 run is just as meaningless as 1-11. Those excited people should come back and talk here in September.

7-3-LOL I was like-"WTF Happened?

Saturday, April 25: Mets 8, Nationals 2. And the most important sign of all was that Mike Pelfry, who'd missed a start, had a good outing.

ugh - matt lindstrom happened

he just couldn't find the strikezone and shane frickin victorino of all people hit one out

shame because JJ absolutely handcuffed them

volstad looks pretty good today - but chan ho park hit one out (yes, that chan ho park) - the wind was blowing hard to right and the thing zigged and zagged just over the fence - the stupid thing just wouldn't fall
