Giants are pretty interesting. They have a great starting staff, and have managed to put together a pretty compent bullpen.

Pablo Sandoval has given the offense some spark. His ability to hit pitches no matter where they are is really something to see, he fouls off stuff until he gets what he wants. I've seen him tomahawk line drives from pitches near his eyes, and the next at bat golf a ball right out of the dirt.

Offense is a bit weak, but Travis Ishikawa and Nate Schierholtz are starting to contribute a little on offense. It is a shame that Burriss can't seem to hit, his glove work was remarkable.

I expect them to make a trade for some offense the next few weeks.

Beautiful ballpark BTW.

Sandoval was a great draft. He hit a grand slam today. Barry Bonds need to sign a 1 year contract with the Giants. Best park ever! most beautiful.

Yeah, I really like watching him pitch. He has a very slow and quiet set up, and then just explodes towards the plate with his entire body.

Barry Zito has been very competent too so far this season, he has had 9 Quality Starts in 16 outings. Though expensive, he is doing well for a #3 starting pitcher.

That kid has some serious skills. He might just win the Cy Young again this year.

Randy has been effective also and Matt Cain is the second best pitcher.

Randy Johnson just placed on injury listing, hurt swinging a bat (getting old isn't fun)...
